What is the right dirt bike for me?

Right now i have a xr 100. i am around 5'7 and about 230 pounds. i recently rode a rm 85 and it was so much faster than my xr. i am looking into a 250 rm, yz, cr, crf. is a 2 or a 4 stroke better?
