Need help picking out my first street bike.?

Ok, so i am thinking about getting my very first street bike. ive been looking at two bikes. the Kawasaki ninja 250r and the Honda crf 230l dualsport. i know that these two bikes are quite different, but what do you guys think would be better for a total beginner. i have a little experience (maby 70 miles of riding total) on a 150cc dirt bike but that's about it. i am also open to any bikes you guys can recommend.
